CruiseUp is the first flying vehicle based on cyclo-rotor technology. In collaboration with Cyclotech, neow design has created a concept that uses the patented Voith-Schneider technology with 6 rotors. With CruiseUp, CycloTech continues its pioneering role by introducing an innovative aircraft category that has never existed in this form before. The specially designed Air Car can accommodate 2 passengers and is designed for individual transportation. At the same time, CycloRotors ensure safety for the environment as well as for both passengers. Unlike conventional rotors and propellers, the moving parts of the CycloRotors are protected, and CruiseUp's special configuration shields the passenger cabin. CruiseUp's special rotor arrangement provides remarkable redundancy that allows for safe flying and landing, even in the event of rotor failure.
By decoupling the trajectory from the vehicle's attitude and compensating for gusts in adverse weather conditions, CruiseUp leverages its CycloRotors and its unique 360° thrust vector capabilities. This allows passengers to travel comfortably in urban, suburban, and rural areas. CruiseUp reaches a top speed of 150 km/h and a range of 100 km, with most megacities and their suburbs within a radius of
20 km.
